Flies are pesky little creatures. Living in a farm only makes it worse. Since we have a lot of farm animals and I’m sure you can guess what they produce (HINT: manure!), it can only make matters worse.
I’m sure you’ve all had that experience where there’s an annoying fly that just keeps on coming back and it creates a little complication with what you have to accomplish. With that said, I never let those little critters get the better of me and you shouldn’t either. Here are some ways that you can keep those flies away when you’re outdoors. From homemade fly traps to fly repellent, take your pick on how to get rid of flies.
1. Clove Apple
Take an apple and stick some cloves in it and it will act as a natural fly repellant. You can even turn this into a decoration or centerpiece for your next backyard gathering. See it here.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
Along with all the many benefits of apple cider vinegar, you can also add fly trap to the list.
3. Chicken Coop Fly Catcher
A chicken coop is almost always infested with flies. Get rid of them with this chicken coop fly catcher.
4. Dish Soap and Water Spray
Who knew a mix of dish soap and water can keep the flies at bay. Spray it all over and it’s an instant fly repellent.
5. Plant Herbs
